Care Pastor Pathway Application

We're delighted that you're interested in becoming a volunteer Care Pastor Candidate at Anchor Church. We believe this pathway will not only be meaningful for you, but will significantly impact the Anchor community.

As a Care Pastor Candidate, you're applying to:

Be part of a volunteer Care Pastor team that is equipped, developed, invited into a Care Pastor community, and deployed to serve pastorally on behalf of the people Anchor serves.
Be stretched in the grace, love, and Spirit-filled power Jesus imparted to his disciples.
Grow in pastoral gifts: listening well, discerning needs, exercising care with boundaries, avoiding "fixing," and leading with humility.
Be sent, as you're able, to provide pastoral care for others when an appropriate community need arises.

Prerequisites (Can be taken after application is submitted):

2 select Anchor School classes (mutually agreed upon according to candidate's needs. Credit or Audit)
Anchor Church's Inner Healing Prayer Training (Next offered in Fall 2025)
Anchor Church's Soul Care class (Multiple offerings throughout the year, beginning Summer 2025)
