In the Anchor School undergraduate level course, Ministry Practicum, you'll gain practical ministry experience through mentored leadership opportunities that leverage your gifts and calling and help advance the mission of God.
This 15-week, 3-credit-hour Anchor School course requires 112 ministry hours and development of competencies under the supervision of a designated ministry leader who has pre-approved your practicum with them. For more information about finding a practicum supervisor, contact Susan Bouterse.
Course requirements include documentation of time in ministry, journal entries based on lessons learned, 3 competencies proven, and supervisor/mentor evaluation.
Unless otherwise planned, practicum students will also be part of Anchor's team meetings, which are formational for community, leadership, and spiritual development. These regular meeting times with Anchor staff count toward practicum hours.
Course fee is $270, which grants access to the Crown College platform for documentation of work.
Computer and internet access are required.
